WWC provides screenings to eligible women for cancers of the breast and cervix.
Eligibility includes women who are residents of Colorado, age 40 and above, uninsured, underinsured and fit income guidelines.
KOMEN provides screenings, education and mammogram referral and financial help for women who have barriers in receiving services. Eligibility includes all women at risk for breast cancer.
Family Planning Clinic
Prenatal Clinic
Purpose
- To improve the reproductive health status of individuals by enabling families to achieve their desired fertility
- To assure access to comprehensive women's health services
- To assure access to early and appropriate prenatal care
Services
- HPV Vaccine - for women 11-26 years old. (Gardasil)
- Physical exams including breast and cervical cancer screening
- STD testing and treatment
- Urinary tract and vaginal infection testing and treatment
- Pregnancy testing and options counseling
- Abnormal pap and mammogram follow-up
- Contraceptive services including birth control options and education
- Tubal ligation and Vasectomy referrals
- Information and education upon request on sex education, puberty, contraception, conception and STD prevention.
- Teen consultations
- Services are confidential
- Prenatal referrals for prenatal care and/or Medicaid determination
- Prenatal care for Emergency Medicaid women in Pitkin County
All women of reproductive age are eligible for family planning services. Women on emergency Medicaid and are unable to pay for prenatal care. Men who need STD screens.
All services based on a sliding scale.
