Dental Oral Health

In July, 2018 the Aspen to Parachute Dental Health Alliance merged with Community Health Services. CHS is proud to now offer the same programs that had been provided by the Dental Health Alliance.

Smiles for Students
This program is a collaboration with Garfield County Public Health to reach second, third, sixth and seventh grade students in schools in Garfield, Pitkin, and Eagle counties. Children receive oral evaluations, cleanings, sealants, fluoride varnishes, treatment referrals, and oral health education.

Smiles for Seniors
This program provides adults age 60 and over with oral evaluations, oral cancer screenings, cleanings, fluoride varnishes, oral health education, and treatment referrals. The focus is to provide quality preventative care for seniors from Aspen to Parachute and to connect them with a dental home.

Bright Start Smiles
This program provides preventative oral health care to pregnant women and children who attend preschool in Pitkin, Eagle and Garfield Counties. These children receive dental screenings, fluoride varnishes, treatment referrals and oral health education.
