Joined as a Nurse Practitioner in 2024. Hilary is originally from the East Coast and moved to Colorado in 2012. Hilary holds a Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati, a Masters in Public Health from Columbia University, a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from New York University and a Bachelors of Arts in English from Harvard University. Before joining CHS, Hilary worked as a labor and delivery nurse for 12 years before becoming a nurse practitioner and is passionate about empowering women to live healthy lives. Hilary loves spending time with her husband and children skiing, biking, hiking, swimming, and doing anything outside.

“Joined CHS as Sexually Transmitted Infections/Family Planning Coordinator October of 2022. Her nursing career involves many specialties, with 27 years in Maternal-Child Nursing. Brenda moved from IL to Colorado 36 years ago (from IL). She holds a Bachelor Degrees in Business Management and Nursing and a Masters in Nursing/Leadership-Management. Her Personal mission: being present for self, family and friends, traveling the USA & other parts of the world. Professional Mission: delivery of compassionate,high quality, personal care to all. Hobbies include travel, outdoor everything, tennis, yoga, meditation, and spending time with my “20 something” year old children.”

“Joined as the Associate Director in 2020 transitioning into Executive Director after the former director of 14 years retired. Logan is originally from northern California and moved to the Roaring Fork Valley in 2007. Logan holds a masters degree in nonprofit management from Regis University in Denver and BA in Communications from San Diego State University. Logan has been in the nonprofit sector for 20 years in the areas of women’s health and wellbeing, disease prevention, early childhood education and animal advocacy.”

Joined in January 2023 as the Clinical Operations Manager. Trained as a midwife, Ayana is passionate about health education, bodily autonomy, and equal access to the healthcare choices that meet each individual’s needs. Raised in Vancouver B.C. Ayana’s family roots in Aspen go back to the 1950s and she attended Colorado Rocky Mountain School. A superfan of the Roaring Fork Valley’s beauty and outdoor activities, she enjoys hiking, biking, skiing, and paddle boarding. She dreams of one day paragliding. She has lived in Carbondale since 2003 with her husband, and they have two daughters in college and one at Roaring Fork High School.

She went to Centro Cultural Universitario in Cuauhtémoc Chihuahua, and studied Pedagogy. She came to Colorado in 2014. Adriana has been working for our community since 2018. She is very happy to be part of Community Health Services, and help our community as best as she can.”

“was born in Puerto Rico, and found home in Aspen 8 years ago. She has a Bachelors in Baking & Pastry Arts from Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island; with a concentration in Leadership and Food Writing. Mari loves watching her son Liam grow into an incredible kid. She joined CHS staff November 2021 and is now our Office Manager. She’s always up for holidays, coffee, dessert, and/or a chat. – “I have been amazed by the force there is in a community that works together, and it has filled my heart to be in a place where I can help my community every day!””

“Joined the team in February 2023 as the Billing & Reports Specialist. Originally from Reno, NV, she raised her daughter in Carmel, IN where she met her husband. They moved to the area in 2016 and hopes to retire here. Kimberly’s favorite things to do are visit her grandson in Indiana as much as possible, paddle board, hike, camp and travel. Her background is in accounting and office management; however, she took on this new challenge in the medical industry and truly enjoys working with a non-profit and being a small part of something that matters and brings good to the community.”

“Joined CHS as the Regional Oral Health Specialist, covering Aspen to Parachute in 2023. She was born and raised in rural southeastern CO where her mother has also been a RDH for over 43 years and her grandmother worked in a dental office back when they had ash trays in every operatory. After graduating from CNCC in 2007, Lisa moved to the western slope and has worked in a variety of dental settings including private practice, education, and public health. In 2013, she returned to college at Eastern Washington University and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2016 and a Masters of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2019. It was this time in her life when public health and working with communities to improve access to healthcare became a reality. Bringing the most innovative and least invasive dental treatment options to patients is Lisa’s favorite. Just ask her about silver diamine fluoride and how it’s changing dentistry; she’ll tell you all about it and then apply some for free.”

“Joined as MA and Clinical Program Coordinator in October 2023. She was born and raised in San Miguel, El Salvador, and moved to Colorado 9 years ago to call the Roaring Fork Valley her new home. She obtained a Doctorate degree in Medicine from the University of El Salvador and later specialized in women’s health. Hazzell believes her experiences navigating the healthcare system as an American immigrant have made her perceptive and empathetic of the challenges the population she serves faces, and that is one reason she continues to advocate for maternal and child health, which also fulfills her passion and life mission. Previously, she worked as a WIC Specialist and Breastfeeding Coordinator for Eagle and Pitkin Counties. In addition to those roles, she was also a member of the Board of Directors of CHS and La Clínica del Pueblo in Carbondale. She loves spending time with her husband, Gerson, and their unique and adventurous son, Josh, while they are outdoors enjoying nature and sports RFV has to offer, spending a cozy and relaxing day at home, or traveling to explore new places.”

“Was born and raised in Cordoba, Argentina, but never felt Cordoba was her place in the world so in her late 20’s she decided to try new horizons and moved to the United States in 2013, where she fell in love with Aspen, the people and the mountains. Ines joined CHS in February of 2017, as a front desk receptionist and medical assistant for Family Planning. In 2019, Ines took over the Prenatal Program, and has been the Prenatal Coordinator since then. She has found her passion to be in prenatal care and in providing the correct quality of care to every member of our community.
Ines loves to spend time with her husband, and their 2 children. They all enjoy the outdoors, fishing, camping, and love to travel!”

“Joined Community Health Services in 2020 as the Immunization and TB Coordinator. Laurie grew up in Miami, FL and moved to Aspen in 1994 after learning how to snowboard. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Florida International University, as well as a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Colorado Mountain College. Prior to working at CHS, Laurie worked as a board-certified psychiatric/mental health nurse with adolescents at the Youth Recovery Center at Valley View Hospital. She loves the outdoors and can be found hiking, snowboarding, paddleboarding or pickleballing depending on the season!”

“Has a Masters Degree from Yale University in Maternal Child Health as well as is a certified nurse midwife. Linda moved to Aspen in 1977 and joined Community Health Services in 1978 and was involved in the implementation for the prenatal care and deliveries of babies born to undocumented and uninsured women and babies as well as the family planning clinics. Today Linda continues to assist women in weekly family planning clinics at Community Health as well as works in a private practice at Aspen Center for Women’s Health. She has raised her two children in Aspen and now has two grandsons ages five and two.. Linda enjoys her book group of 46 years and hiking with dear friends.”

“Joined Community Health Services in 2018 as the coordinator and dental assistant for The Smiles for Students Dental Program. Jenn was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico and moved to Colorado when I was 15. Jenn has been part of the dental program for the past 11 years. “I love working in the schools and being able to provide preventive services and educate students and parents in our community about the importance of dental care”. Jenn has been married for 23 years and we have four beautiful children. For fun, Jenn enjoys biking, boating, and camping.”

“Became part of the CHS Dental team as an assistant and interpreter in 2021 for Eagle, Pitkin, and Garfield counties. Isela Menchaca born in Chihuahua Mexico graduated from Glenwood Springs High School and attended Colorado Mountain College for early Childhood education, Isela who is now working as a Parent Liaison at Wamsley Elementary School enjoys helping children and parents with finding resources to meet their needs while continuing to serve the CHS dental program. Isela found her passion in Early Childhood Education when working with the Preschool On Wheels program where she also learned to drive a bus and acquired a commercial drivers license. Isela loves spending time camping, skiing, hiking with her husband, three boys, and two dogs which she loves with all her heart. Isela’s sons, ages 4, 16, and 21 are attending school in Wamsley Elementary, Rifle High School, and oldest son is attending Mesa State University.”

“Joined CHS in 2021 as a Dental Hygienist and works in the TeleORALhealth program. She loves being able to help people who are not able to access care by providing them with a video conference in their own home.
Rebekkah attended CNCC in Rangely and graduated in 2020 with an AAS in Dental Hygiene. She currently lives in Grand Junction, CO with her husband.”
