“Joined CHS as the Regional Oral Health Specialist, covering Aspen to Parachute in 2023. She was born and raised in rural southeastern CO where her mother has also been a RDH for over 43 years and her grandmother worked in a dental office back when they had ash trays in every operatory. After graduating from CNCC in 2007, Lisa moved to the western slope and has worked in a variety of dental settings including private practice, education, and public health. In 2013, she returned to college at Eastern Washington University and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2016 and a Masters of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2019. It was this time in her life when public health and working with communities to improve access to healthcare became a reality. Bringing the most innovative and least invasive dental treatment options to patients is Lisa’s favorite. Just ask her about silver diamine fluoride and how it’s changing dentistry; she’ll tell you all about it and then apply some for free.”
